Got a pretty silly photo of 'bunny' enjoying his carrots a little too much, bless him. Think he was saving the leaves for later :)

I must apologize for not posting up my 3:15pm photo yesterday, I was quite poorly and didn't feel like doing much. But I did make a few more pairs of earrings.

green leaf earrings

And this is this evenings treat. A pair of lovely 'green leaf earrings' made from a green glass bead, an antique gold filigre bell cap and a green swarvoski bead.

I'm also thinking of opening an online store for the jewelery that I'm making, keep a look out :)

at 3:15pm today

We were taking photos of me wearing my 'green silver lined bead necklace' but I managed to take a sneaky one of Tim hiding in the bushes. hehe.

green silver lined bead necklace

Here are some photo's of the necklace that I made yesterday. It's made on dark gold cable wire, put together with a small gold plated screw clasp and made up of green silver lined beads and gold seed beads. What do you think?

I came across this lovely window display made up of hand made birds and look at the beautiful church in the reflection.

I also created a pretty gold bead and green glass necklace, still need to add the finishing touches so I'll take a photo when that is completed :)

On a sad note, I bought some gold and silver wire, but unfortunately the swarovski beads I have are to small :( back to the bead shop then, what a shame!

playing with wire

I am very proud of these rings. They are made from silver plated copper, Jonquil colored swarovski beads and blue glass beads. I want to buy some 24ct wire but for now I thought I just just practice with the copper.

My favorite is the one with the Jonquil colored swarovski beads, but I bought so many different colors and sizes today that I'm sure there will be loads more to show you tomorrow.

at 3:15pm today

I was wondering round craft stores and Tim was wondering round looking at accessories for climbing. The photo's aren't very good as I stupidly forgot my camera and had to take these on my phone.

I've also made some more rings this evening, much prettier and neater than yesterdays ones, will post some photo's up soon.

I tried my hand at making wire jewelery. It's alot harder than I thought, but so much fun. I think the rings below were attempts 5&6 haha but I really feel that I'm starting to get the hang of it. Practice makes perfect as they say.

I was walking to Tim's final year exhibition, there really wasn't anything exciting to take a photo of, but here we are taking a little break by a mirrored window.

maybe, I should start going on nicer day trips for my daily photos.

the 3:15pm task...

Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be taking 1 photo at 3:15pm everyday, no matter where I am or what I'm doing...

Look out for tomorrow's first photo :)

goodbye second year...

The summer holidays have started and the sewing projects are full steam ahead :) This is the first dress I made yesterday to celebrate finishing second year...

I haven't got a good photo of me wearing it yet, but here's a little preview from last night...

Is it sad to say that after being out for only an hour, I really missed bunny, and longed to be back at home with him, snuggled on the sofa watching a film?
He seemed to miss me too.

Anyway, off to town to buy some more fabric :)

Where things are made...

So I've been clearing out and sorting my craft/sewing room, ready to start on lots of new projects, and thought I'd take some photos. It's not an amazing room, but it will do for now. I'm lucky enough to have a converted basement in my house, split into two rooms, meaning I have my own craft/sewing room. Perfect!

P.s.

I also have a new addition to my household. A bunny called 'bunny'. I know, I know, so original. I wanted to call him Vivienne but it just didn't stick (for some strange reason), so bunny it is.

Poor thing, ran away from home and was found by a friend of a friend. They no longer wanted him and were going to let him loose in a park near where I live. How could anyone do such a thing? So bunny now has a nice warm loving home :)

Edible property.

Oops, I haven't been on here in quite some time. University work is to blame. Anyhow, it is finally all completed and handed in and the sewing projects can commence....

But i thought I should post up some images of the university work that has taken over my life for the past couple of weeks hee hee.

My project was all based on creating mini-worlds. It all started when I built a doll's house a while back, and led onto these biscuit houses. All made from an assortment of biscuits and stuck together with a mixture of icing, polyfiller, candle wax, uhu glue and pva glue.

sit and watch your garden grow

What a lovely week i've had. I'm back in Wales visiting my family for easter break, gosh i've missed this bunch of lovely people. I've been spoilt with all the lovely walks along the sea side, lots of lovely food to indulge on and mum took me to fabric heaven. Can't wait to start creating lots of summer dresses. All floral of course.
Still need to conjure up a plan of how to take all this fabric back to leeds.
Anyway, I made my mum a little gift. This super cute garden kneeler. Mum's garden is so pretty and thought she deserved a lovely accessary to go with it :)

herbal tea.

So, here's some more stuff I'm working on for university, I don't really know why I'm posting them up, producing these images is never as much fun as strolling around a fabric store then coming home and making some pretty dresses. haha.

Such a shame the photography studio in uni was fully booked all week, meant I had to go outside and enjoy the sunshine to take these photo's.

a late autumn

I find it so exciting to just play around with found objects. Laminating leaves is such a dull idea, but they look so good pegged back onto the tree they fell off.

And I really like this bird perched in the tree, just made out of scraps of material, cotton wool balls as stuffing and a button for the eye.

my sweet tooth

I have to admit; I'm becoming quite an addict of making muffins. My speciality becoming banana and chocolate chip (sitting in the cake dome). The ones on the cake stand are blueberry, yum yum!

And as easter is looming, I just had to decorate the tops of these muffins with little chocolate eggs.

she likes to watch the birdys

Well this is it..my 1st blog..hello welcome!!
I thought I'd start by showing some images I'm currently working on in university.
Taking found objects, re-vamping them, photographing, collage-ing.
